Abstract:
The present paper searches the religious literacy and religiosity of young people who graduated in 2020 from the 3rd grade of Lyceum in Greece after ten years of Religious Education. It aims to describe their religious knowledge and their religiosity. The survey was conducted from 12-10-2020 to 20-02-2021 on 996 graduates of secondary education through an online questionnaire. The study concludes that young people in Greece have moderate scores of religious knowledge and level of religiosity. The research attempts to contribute to an overview of the level of the religious knowledge and religiosity of the youth in Greece which should be considered in the development of the Religious Education curriculum.
